PCL SCDOT - US701 Pee Dee River Bridge Replacements: The project intent is to demolish and remove the existing US701 Bridges over the Great Pee Dee River, Pee Dee River Overflow and Yauhannah Lake. Each bridge is approximately 1,500 LF over active waterways and wetlands. The scope includes demolition of the existing bridge decks, barrier walls, steel girders, precast girders, intermediate bent caps, precast piles, steel trusses, pier foundations, end bents and approach slabs. Material removal will be performed by the use of cranes, heavy equipment and marine equipment.
